dharmalogos DUDE! When was the last time you heard a band that fit in perfectly with the music you've been listening to but sounded completely original? This is AMAZING! How can I even describe it? Ok imagine if a really really good stoner rock band was playing NWOBHM songs written by a philosophy major lyricist and a composer who had studied baroque counterpoint. Now throw in waltzes and Steely Dan playing arena yacht rock . The melodies and riffs are all over the place, but it never stops rocking. Favorite track: The Apology.

fkflip Slough Feg is one of my all-time favorite bands and this album cemented it. The juxtaposition of barbaric heavy metal and high level psychological discourse just blows me away every time. Favorite track: Being and Nothingness.
